Growing up in Poland, I attended a bilingual high school with French as the language of instruction. By the age of 20, I had moved abroad. I studied sociology and worked in France, spent a year in Istanbul on Erasmus, lived in Ireland, and eventually settled in Spain, where I completed my postgraduate studies.
Surrounded by multiple languages and cultures, I realized that this wasn’t just a way of life – it was a calling. Becoming a professional interpreter and translator was the natural next step.
Languages fascinate me. I find joy in etymology, grammar, language variation, and discovering how real people speak, not just what’s in the dictionary. Whenever I travel, I can’t help but dive into the language – even if it’s just a few basic expressions. This passion shows in my work, every day.
Over the years, I’ve worked in high-pressure, multilingual environments – including several years as an interpreter for the 112 emergency line in Catalonia, juggling several languages under stress and time pressure. That’s where I developed my Catalan superpower.
I’ve interpreted at international business conferences and one-on-one meetings across sectors like agriculture, transport, healthcare, and heavy industry. I’ve also worked at cultural events close to my heart, interpreting presentations of Polish literature and theatre – where language meets emotion and identity.
As a translator and copywriter, I specialize in marketing, tourism, and audiovisual texts. I enjoy playing with words, shaping voice and tone, and adding that human touch to machine-translated content.
